जय गजबदन सदन सुखदाता। विश्व विनायक बुद्धि विधाता॥

Jay Gajbadan Sadan Sukhdaata. Vishwa Vinaayak Buddhi Vidhaata.

वक्र तुण्ड शुची शुण्ड वाला। तिलक त्रिपुण्ड भाल नयन विशाला॥

Vakra Tund Suchi Shund Vaala. Tilak Tripund Bhaal Nayan Vishaala.

राजत मणि मुक्तन उर माला। स्वर्ण मुकुट शिर नयन विशाला॥

Raajat Mani Muktan Ur Maala. Swarna Mukut Shir Nayan Vishaala.

पुस्तक पाणि कुठार त्रिशूला। मोदक भोग सुगन्ध फूला॥

Pustak Paani Kuthaar Trishoola. Modak Bhog Sugandh Phoola.

सुन्दर पीताम्बर तन साजित। चरण पादुका मुनि मन राजित॥

Sundar Peetaambar Tan Saajit. Charan Paaduka Muni Man Raajit.

धनि शिव सुवन षडानन भ्राता। गौरी ललन विश्व-विख्याता॥

Dhani Shiv Suvan Shadaanan Bhraata. Gauri Lalan Vishva-Vikhyaata.

ऋद्धि सिद्धि तव चँवर सुधारें। मूषक वाहन सोहत द्वारें॥

Riddhi Siddhi Tav Chanvar Sudhaaren. Mooshak Vaahan Sohat Dwaaren.

कहौं जन्म शुभ कथा तुम्हारी। अति शुचि पावन मंगलकारी॥

Kahon Janm Shubh Katha Tumhaari. Ati Shuchi Paavan Mangalkaari.

॥ 10 ॥

एक समय गिरिराज कुमारी। पुत्र हेतु तप कीन्हो भारी॥

Ek Samay Giriraaj Kumari. Putr Hetu Tap Keenho Bhaari.

💡 Once, the daughter of the mountain king (Parvati) performed intense penance seeking a son.

॥ 11 ॥

भयो यज्ञ जब पूर्ण अनूपा। तब पहुँच्यो तुम धरि द्विज रूपा॥

Bhayo Yagya Jab Poorn Anoopa. Tab Pahuncho Tum Dhari Dwij Roopa.

💡 When the incomparable yajna was complete, you arrived there in the guise of a brahmin.

॥ 12 ॥

अतिथि जानि कैं गौरी सुखारी। बहु विधि सेवा करी तुम्हारी॥

Atithi Jaani Kain Gauri Sukhaari. Bahu Vidhi Seva Kari Tumhaari.

💡 Recognising you as a guest, Gauri was pleased and served you in many ways.

॥ 13 ॥

अति प्रसन्न है तब तुम भये। वर दे पुत्र रूप में आये॥

Ati Prasann Hai Tab Tum Bhaye. Var De Putr Roop Men Aaye.

💡 Extremely pleased, you granted her a boon and then came yourself in the form of her son.

॥ 14 ॥

गिरिजा खुशी सो हृदय लगायो। उर करि प्रेम तुमहिं बिठायो॥

Girija Khushi So Hriday Lagaayo. Ur Kari Prem Tumahin Bithaayo.

💡 Girija (Parvati) joyfully clasped you to her heart and with great love, seated you in her lap.

॥ 15 ॥

शम्भु तहाँ आये उस काला। निज सुत देखि जानि हर्षाला॥

Shambhu Tahan Aaye Us Kaala. Nij Sut Dekhi Jaani Harshaala.

💡 Shambhu (Shiva) arrived there at that time. Seeing the child as his own son, he was filled with joy.

॥ 16 ॥

मुनि सनकादि आदि तब आए। शिव विरंचि ब्रह्मा पहुँचाए॥

Muni Sankaadi Aadi Tab Aaye. Shiv Viranchi Brahma Pahunchaaye.

सब ने गाया जय-जयकारा। गणपति जन्म हुआ उजियारा॥

Sab Ne Gaaya Jay-Jaykaara. Ganapati Janm Hua Ujiyaara.

💡 Everyone sang praises and cried victory! The birth of Ganapati brought light and joy to all.

॥ 18 ॥

सुरन सुमन बरषा बहु आई। ब्रह्म सिंहासन पर बिठाई॥

Suran Suman Barsha Bahu Aai. Brahm Sinhaasan Par Bithaai.

💡 The gods showered flowers from the heavens and seated Ganesha on the divine throne of Brahma.

॥ 19 ॥

विघ्न विनाशक प्रथम पूजायो। सर्व कार्य सिद्धि कर पायो॥

Vighna Vinaashak Pratham Poojaayo. Sarva Kaarya Siddhi Kar Paayo.

💡 The remover of obstacles was worshipped first, and thus all undertakings achieved their success.

॥ 20 ॥

पूजन करें सदा मंगलकारी। सब काजन को करे सुधारी॥

Poojan Karen Sada Mangalkaari. Sab Kaajan Ko Kare Sudhaari.

💡 Those who worship you always find prosperity. You make all their works succeed.
